Actress and singer Hillary Duff spoke in an interview with the American The Motherly Podcast about the challenges she met as a young mother, recognizing she had lost her identity after the birth of her first child.
"I was a bit isolated, I was 24 and I did not have any friends who already had a baby, but then I had been working long and felt that this was a natural step forward. this is a priority in life, so I felt ready in one hand and, on the other hand, scared, "Hilary said.
She acknowledged that she had lost her part of her identity the year after she had just born the first child.
"I do not think that's a bad thing. Sometimes I was sad about it, but you know, it's a big deal," she said.
Regardless of the difficulties encountered after the birth of the first child, Hilary says she has learned over time in her new identity and that motherhood is the happiest and most beautiful experience in her life.
