Richie Hawtin announces interactive Closer app

Richie Hawtin has revealed the details of the new interactive Closer app.

The app is designed to get the audience closer to what all the DJ or Live performers are doing from the counter. September is planned for its release, and the idea for its development came from Hawtin's live performances as part of the "Close" tour, which has been going on for several years.

He first spoke publicly about the app in an interview with the Telekom Electronic Beats Podcast, which you can listen to below.

Although an application under that name already exists, it does not yet have the interactive features it wants to have. You can now view previous "Close" kits through it and download them, even changing several camera angles. But when Live Streaming and more cameras are added, Hawtin thinks the app will then be complete and take viewers to a whole new level.
